Unlike anything else in its category, the Alfa Romeo 4C uses a carbon fiber tub instead of metal, so chopping it's roof off doesn't make it less fun. In fact, quite to opposite. Meet the 2015 4C Spider.
The canvas soft top and the carbon fiber rollover bars only made it 132 pounds heavier than the coupe, so that mighty 1.8-liter turbo four won't have any problems sending you sideways with the roof down either.

For those of you who aren't fans of the 4C's insect-style headlamps, the Spider can bring relief even if it's just a concept at this point and if you remember, the coupe was also teasing us with regular ones before entering production.

DISCUSSION
What the 4C needs is a narrower body. Like what we saw on TopGear some episodes ago, the wide body is its drawback.... I wish Alfa can learn from this and make a facelift-ed 4C with narrower dimensions... And a proper baggage.
But so, this is a good thing to have...
