The new 4.0 liter, 493 horsepower Porsche 911 GT3 RS is here, in all of its glory.

Here are the relevant specs.

  • 500 PS (493 hp)
  • 480 Nm (354 ft-lbs)
  • 0-62 mph in 3.3s
  • 0-120 in 10.9
  • 320 kph top speed (198 mph)

Here's the interior. The only gauge that gets white backing is the tach. You need no other gauges, really.

Very yes.

We've seen this car in a number of different leaks, from a scale model to a not-supposed-to-be-released fact sheet.

The cool details are a magnesium roof, carbon trunklid and engine cover, and a speed limiter. It says, in what is the most cheesy thing about the car, 'pit speed' on it. The rear wing is suitably massive, and Porsche claims the car can manage a 7:20 lap of the Nürburgring. That is bizonkers fast.

The car has a (half?) cage and six-point belts, as well as carbon seats.

The car costs 181,690 Euros, Die Welt reports.

Comparing this car to the regular GT3, the RS is 10 kilos lighter, 25 horsepower and 30 ft-lbs stronger, and 50,000 Euros dearer.

Porsche claims the front fender vents are for aiding the front end's aero, but there's nothing said about those big rear vents.
