If you thought this was the first time Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg battled each other on the same team, you're wrong. Team MBM.com (which stands for Mercedes-Benz McLaren) backed both Rosberg and Hamilton in Formula A Karting some fourteen years ago.
Formula A (now called KF1) is the top level of karting, and this video brings us interviews with both Hamilton and Rosberg as well some wonderful Japanese commentary. Let's face it, everything would be more exciting if it was narrated by Japanese TV personalities.

Hamilton ultimately won the championship, but to say their rivalry is anything new would be a lie. It's certainly intensified this year at Mercedes, that's for sure.
Some of the other names in this clip may sound familiar, too, like L. Duval and R. Kubica. Hehe.
