North Carolinian police released dashcam video today of a suspected burglar dragging a safe full of prescriptions drugs behind his car. I'm sure there's a reasonable explanation for all of this, though.

WITN News reports that 22-year-old Ryan Mullins was arrested on Tuesday and charged with safecracking, breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods, trafficking of opium or heroin and DWI.

An officer apparently simply spotted Mullins driving by in Swansboro, safe in tow. Mullins wasn't even initially charged with stealing the safe. He was getting written up for driving drunk when the cops started asking about the safe and then got a call about a pharmacy break-in.

Curiously, local Fox 8 News reports that the safe was eight feet long and two feet deep.
