Struck by Fake Lightning: Mercedes E-Class Gets Tesla'd

At the Mercedes E-Class presentation, the thunder of auto journos shifting their feet during a particularly long opening speech ("dynamism" usage count = five) preceeded a series of lightning bolts that struck the car from a Tesla coil right out of a 1920s Fritz Lang joint. A team of shadowy e-dancers in voltage-proof pajamas — one of which was suspended from a boom — guided the bolts using conduction rods. In other news, George Westinghouse's corpse just exploded.
