Robby Gordon and at least two wild jump-slamming tire-slaying Stadium Super Trucks somehow managed to obtain invites to the prestigious Goodwood Festival of Speed this June. Prepare popcorn, this is gonna be good.
Founded in 1993 and hosted by Lord Charles March, also known as Charles Gordon-Lennox, Earl of March and Kinrara, the Goodwood Festival of Speed is an affair of pomp and circumstance and severely beautiful motorcars. Seeing jacked-up racing trucks go buck wild in the middle of all that is going to be positively righteous.
Gordon’s Speed Energy race team says; “Not only will Gordon drive a Stadium Super Truck on the famous Hillclimb Circuit in a timed event, but a second truck will be featured in a new off-road venue on the estate’s activity field.” Sweet.
Stadium Super Trucks has already enjoyed a whole lot of success in the US and Australia, they’re in their third season of racing right now. If you haven’t seen it yet yourself, check out some of the footage below.
