Despite the cladding on a Ford Five Hundred test mule recently spotted, the new-generation model will have about 75% more "Dave" than the current model. That referring to the "open, friendly" US-centric grillwork Ford's chief designer Peter Horbury created as the brand's new visual signature. That means the five-aught-aught will likely receive the safety-razor fascia first seen on the Fusion and soon to adorn the Edge crossover. According to Edmunds Straightline blog, Ford is overhauling its entire lineup to be Davelike. Or is that Davesque?
