When most ships reach the end of their lives they end up in shipbreaking facilities dotted all over the world. It's a lot easier to totally demolish a ship when it's on dry land, so when it's time to break up an old sailor, the boat is intentionally beached. The only problem is it looks terrifying.

The M/F Ostend Spirit, also known as the MS Pride of Calais, was a ferry that spent most of its life doing the shuttle route across the English Channel. Instead of transporting people and vehicles across the seas, she'll now be completely broken down, piece by piece, for scrapping and recycling.
Seeing it head for land and those two other wrecks, though, is crazy.
