"It is one of my dream stunts actually," said Ryan, who's done all kinds of crazy shit in enormous vehicles. "It's the one thing I have not done in a big rig... I think it's a genunie first." His advice if you want to try this at home? "I think it's extremely critical that we hit the ramp as straight as possible." (Also, please don't try this at home.)
It's cool to see the speeds and angles be calculated, but the video's worth watching if only to see the insane truck-jump from the perspective of the race car below it.
