This race promises to be one of the best in 24 Hours Of LeMons history. The assortment of cars includes two Brits we've been wanting to see at LeMons for years: Mini and Spridget!
Both cars were still under construction as of this evening, but both have managed to do a little driving under their own power. The Sprite has a terrifyingly loose front end and general wretchitude, but its 1,275cc engine gives it the power edge over the 948cc Mini. Meanwhile, the Mini seems to have the better suspension. Each team has drivers with plenty of experience racing their particular brand of tiny British machine, so they seem evenly matched there. So, who's it going to be? Big engine and rear-wheel-drive, or fat tires and stiff springs on the front-driver? We'll find out!
