The Stuttgart gang is pushing out yet another variant of its 911 of the 997 variety. It's the 911 GT3 RS, and it's a street-legal, track-tuned version of the already snogworthy GT3. Serving as Porsche's homologation model for GT racing, the RS works from the same 415-hp, naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat six as its non-RS sibling. An emphasis on weight savings (hello, carbon fiber) gives it a tenth-of-a-second advantage over the base GT3 in the zero-to-62 (100 km/h) sprint (4.2 vs. 4.3 seconds). Top speed is around 193 mph (remember when that number used to sound like infinity?). It'll go on sale in Europe this October at the equivalent of around $177,000, with a US version slated for next March.
