Oh momma. The final piece in Porsche's 997 puzzle is in place. That is, the screaming fast, stripped-to-the-rafters GT3 model, which will likely turn 911 fans to jelly at ten paces. Set to debut in Geneva next week (no test drives there for us proles, sadly), the GT3 relies on a turboless, 415-hp, 3.6-liter flat six that winds out at 8,400 rpm — enough to make an electric-generating dynamo spit-take a kilowatt or three. Zero to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, top speed of 193 mph, track-tuned active suspension, sticker price of $106,000... We could go on and on.
