The 1990s Mercury Cougar was maybe not the most important car ever made, or the most beautiful, or the most beloved. But it could do a burnout, and that’s what counts.

While the older Cougars were Mustangs in a too-big shirt, the last rear-drive Cougar was based off of the contemporary Thunderbird, which was more like a Mustang in a too-big pair of pants. The later Cougar was a front-driver.

This video claims to show a twin-turbo Cougar, and while I don’t exactly know what that translates to under the hood, I can tell you it does burn some rubber.
