Nakai San built his first open top 911 for California, and while we take a peek into the process, I guess we should also wish for this RWB 964 Targa to meet Magnus Walker's Turbo somewhere in downtown LA for a true air-cooled blast in the dark.

I admire Akira Nakai San's building style. Not only does he smoke about as much as Fox Mulder's father without the benefits of being a fictional character, he clearly also went to the same health and safety class as Jeremy Clarkson, using no goggles or masks whatsoever while working with paint and dusty composites in his poorly ventilated garage.

He is burning it on both sides for sure, which isn't good news since we want to see him building these cars pretty much forever.

Let's just hope he eats lots of fish and vegetables in the meantime.
