Colin Alton does some seriously quick laps of the Nürburgring, though around here he's more known for doing serious damage to an eagle during a run at the track. Unintentional animal cruelty is a consequence of racing sometimes.

In case you've forgotten, back in September Alton was pounding down the 'Ring at approximately 140 mph when an eagle smacked into his car, causing a pretty big thud.

No word on what happened to the eagle, but I think we can assume it's been reincarnated, hopefully as something that has better luck at a track.

Seven months later Alton's turned in a pretty quick time of 7:30, and thankfully we can report that no animals were harmed in the making of this film.

This time.
