Last year a couple NJ state troopers came under fire for escorting a gaggle of Ferraris on a high speed run down the highway in 2010. One of the officers later resigned for his involvement, and has now been given a year of probation.

Veteran officer Nadir Nassry and his partner, Joseph Ventrella, were suspended after it was found that they were involved in the police escort for a number of Ferraris, Porsches, and Lamborghinis on the Garden State Parkway.

Nassry has been given a year of probation, and will also never be able to work as a police officer or in state government again after taking a plea deal to 4th degree charges of tampering with evidence.
