Another day, another leak before all gets revealed at this year's Geneva Motor Show. This time around, it's the backside of the McLaren 675 LT. It's a fit one, but I see no Long Tail.
The latest member of McLaren's new "Sport Series" surely won't shock anybody with its design who's seen a 12C or a 650S before, but this first image leaked by Dutch site Auto Gespot confirms that it won't be sluggish on a track.
Don't forget, those ultra lightweight titanium exhaust pipes are connected to a twin-turbo V8 delivering 443 lb ft of torque for maximum traction until you enter the sweet spot between 5,500-6,500 rpm, when it unleashes 516 pound feet to the rear wheels. Together with the almost constantly moving aero brake and the additional downforce created by the monster diffuser, that torque and the 675 LT's 666 horsepower will make Ferrari 458 Speciales crawl back to Maranello for some upgrades. We shall see what the new 488 GTB has to say about that.
Widebody and straight pipes? We clearly need two of these. And some friends at Pirelli.
