Whoops. A major production supplier to Chrysler's redesigned Jeep Wrangler shut its doors yesterday — just months before the newest Jeep is scheduled to hit dealerships. The company, Haden International, which had been contracted to operate an on-site paint shop for the new Wrangler, cited financial difficulties (gee, you think?) for the reason it closed up said shop, laying off 60 workers at Jeep's Toledo, Ohio plant late last week. Jeep officials say the company will take over the shop and meet the production schedule's deadlines, but that they don't ever want to see Haden again, outside of maybe a booty call once in a while if they're both really drunk and she's wearing those jeans.
