Kick A Fantasy Out Of The Garage: Round Two

I think I speak for many of us Jalops, and espcially my man Danio, when I say, "WHAT IN THE FUCK!?!" What was up with yesterday's voting? The GNX? Really? OK, so to recap, we now have 20 cars in the Fantasy Garage (21 if you count the Rotus). Time to kick one out. Yesterday you voted on what we'll call the odd cars (1,3,5, etc.) and today you get the even cars. Then, on Monday we'll put together a final bracket and let y'all vote on that. The winning loser gets to join the Volkswagen Phaeton W12 in the shame and infamy that constitutes getting tossed out of the Fantasy Garage. A note to those of you who may be new to the party: take a look at the entries themselves (all listed below) before you submit your vote. Ready? Vote! Oh, one more thing – anyone caught voting the Daytona Coupe out gets their throat slit loses their license for one year.

Well, let's see here:

Rare, bad ass Ferrari homologation special- check

German AWD Bruce for the masses- check

Italian/French-via German megalomaniac- vulgar display of power- check

Japanese technical overkill road weapon- check

American racing icon and collector's holy grail- check

All of these should be in, end of story. Good night everybody.

After careful consideration of the remainder, I voted out the Masser. I like the car, but this group has character in spades. And while the Quattroporte is certainly cooler than a 7 series or S class, it just can't hang with this bunch. And that includes the super fly Honda. After reading the piece for that car, my vote was locked and loaded. Sorry Maserati.

Now if it were a Birdcage...
