The Nissan GT-R is a stunningly capable car right from the factory. Add a few hundred extra horsepower and it's a jarheaded MMA enthusiast deep in the throes of 'roid rage. Is that a good thing or a bad thing?

This week on Tuned, Matt Farah tests out the Switzer "Ultimate Street" GT-R. On pump gas, it makes 1,000 horsepower. On race gas, it makes 1,100 horsepower. The owner of this particular GT-R uses it as his daily driver to commute to work.

Is 1,100 horsepower enough to get to the office, and do all those extra horses give the conservative GT-R the edge many feel it lacks? Let's find out.
