UK-based Mitsubishi Evo tuner X-Works Automotive has worked up its own Evo-engined concept car, possibly to challenge the Subaru-powered Prodrive P1 (ooh, this could be quite interesting indeed). The X1, as it's known, sports a passenger cell of carbon composite, over subframes of aluminum and carbon that support the drivetrain. Speaking of which, it's powered by a 350hp, 2.0-liter turbocharged Evo four (with potential for a 500-hp tune). The team expects the X1 to retail at 45,000, if financial stars align. The car will be shown this weekend at the Xtreme Automobiles showroom in Midlands — which is just out of our range at the moment. We'll accept any and all photos, however.
