E-Z-GO, of Augusta, GA (natch), has recalled around 60,000 gasoline-powered golf carts, including 2002-2005 Fleet and Freedom Golf Cars, as well as Shuttle 2+2 Personnel Carriers. Apparently, there's a problem with the air cleaner assembly that can allow fuel to get in and start fires. About fifteen instances of the flaming runabouts have been reported. Presumably, E-Z-Go, a unit of Textron, wants to take care of this before Davis Love the Third is unwillingly transmogrified by flame into Davis Love the Burnt. Read the press release here.
