On July 23, a drunk Norwegian took a nap on the baggage inspection conveyor belt in Terminal 3 of Rome's Fiumicino airport. He slept right through the x-ray. Look at all those drunk organs.
The 36-year-old Norwegian was carried 164 feet (50 meters) without anyone noticing him. Only the security staff on duty at the x-ray scanner saw him when he passed through in a fetal position.
Though there was technically no breach of security, the entire terminal was shut down as the Norwegian remained asleep even during the chaos that followed his discovery.
An official from the airport later told La Repubblica that since he didn't have a luggage tag, the man could have circulated on the luggage rack indefinitely. Or at least until someone spotted him.
