World War II hasn't been forgotten in Lithuania, where displaying Nazi and Soviet symbols is prohibited by law. It's a law the authorities there take seriously.
A Belorussian citizen driving a red Porsche 996 with a yellow sickle-and-hammer decal stuck to its hood found out when he was turned away at the border.
The offense technically carries a fine ranging from $180 to $350, but the Belorussian Porsche owner hadn't actually crossed the border yet, so wasn't slapped with it.

Lithuanian border guards told the man that he could walk or take a bus, but the guy apparently decided that the only way to tour Lithuania is in a Porsche. Right. Everyone knows walking and buses are for commies. (Hat tip to empfader!)
