Old Jeep hoarder and former FCA engineer David Tracy gave an appropriate send off for the old Jeep Compass. It was a terrible car that was part of Chrysler’s “Ah screw it this is good enough” portfolio and we shouldn’t trust our children with one.
The thing with crappy cars is people actually buy them. Jeep sold a crap ton of Compass crossovers, mostly to people with terrible credit or to folks that had something so old and out of date, any car seemed better.

Don’t give your kids a Compass, but if you did at least they would have a sense...
