With the Transformers movie officially opening today, CNBC's Squawk Box rolled out what we're only able to describe as a "poser pundit" this morning to talk Transformers and General Motors. We think this David Poland doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Doesn't he realize VW told the folks at Paramount they couldn't use the New Beetle as Bumblebee because it'd be portraying a "warrior." Jeesh — of course the obvious choice for anyone thinking but unable to get a "New Beetle" is "Camaro." Duh. Silly critic — he didn't even like the movie — what does he know anyway?
