The Chang'An CD101 concept, debuting at the Shanghai Motor Show, is... dang it... it's a decent looking Chinese car that doesn't seem to borrow styling from much of anything. Who knew?
The concept shows a very production-friendly design without most of the flim-flam we've come to expect with concepts. Okay, the cross-drilled brake rotors are not very likely, but pretty much everything else is actually tasteful. There's a hint of BMW 7-series in it's lines with a dash of Peugeot, but nothing directly lifted. We're actually pretty impressed with the car.
Details on the car and Chang'An's intentions for future production are currently unavailable for those not speaking Chinese. We don't.
