The 2015 BMW 2-Series, which is actually going to replace the BMW 1-Series, is about to debut. The Bavarian Motor Works have accordingly presented the world with this teaser video, in anticipation of the coupe's October 25th debut. If its predecessor is anything to judge it by, then it should be good.
We know a whole bunch about the 2-series so far, mostly as its derived from the existing 1-series, but also because we've seen some of the specs. The base model 220i will have a 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder engine, with 180 horsepower. There should be a few models in between that and the range-topping M235i, but it's the M235i that we really care about.
The 2015 BMW M235i will have a turbocharged 3.0-liter sixpot, good for 322 horses and 0-60 in five seconds, and should come in under $50,000. And if the M235i is anything like the M135i at all, we've got a lot to look forward to.
