Bentley's as-yet-to-be-named new SUV is dribbling out in drips and drabs, because that's apparently Just What Manufacturers Do These Days, presumably. But from this light (get it? It's a pun! Because it's a video examining light, and it's also light on details) teaser video, it looks like the design is all set.
We've actually seen the front of the new Bentley SUV, sort of, but that was a bit photoshopped to be covered in dirt, so this one should be a bit more clear. What is more interesting, is that the company's seen it fit to preserve what has become the iconic Bentley rear haunch that is just the best thing ever.
I think we can all agree that the original Bentley concept SUV, the EXP 9 F, looked a bit fat, and also a bit crap. I really have yet to hear from anyone with taste that really disagrees with that sentiment. But the production version of the SUV seems to have addressed a lot of those issues, at least from the few glimpses we're seeing here, with more muscular lines and a bit more aggression all around.
So it'll probably be pretty good, to put it succinctly. Hopefully.
There's no word yet, at least from this video, on any new powertrain surprises like a plug-in hybrid option. Bentley set up a new site for the thing. So far there's just this video, a link to say you might want to buy one, and a link to the company's Facebook page.
But we'll probably be hearing a lot more from Bentley pretty soon.
