Sweet Peet's been as hard on GM as anyone, but he finds the time to toss some love the way of the Corvette Racing guys on the occasion of their fifth victory in six years at LeMans; a race in which they managed to stave off the Prodrive-prepped Astons, and even more impressively, took fourth overall. Peet's call for GM to use this as a halo, however, will most likely go unheeded. Which is a shame, because with 24 hours of footage to choose frome, it would make for one hell of a TV spot. They could even make it jingoistic and anti-French to appeal to the lowest common denominator.
