It’s not a standard option. It’s a dealer add-on. And they add them onto every car on their. GM shouldn’t let them do it but they are a huge volume dealer.

These guys didn’t care. Medium sized town but the dealer was literally across the street from a GM plant. They got too much business to give a rat’s ass about anyone walking away.
