Seriously. Most of the story was told through the words of the guests, not the hosts. I just now listened to the first two episodes, and while the interviewers may be hypocrites, the story itself seemed to be well-researched and the featured interviewees were good.

It’s not exclusively Antioch church folks on “Fixer Upper,” but they are freeeeequently featured on the show. It’s a huge church in Waco, sure, but I also suspect having some kind of personal friendship/friend-of-friend connection can’t hurt.
