This is seriously the laziest piece of filmmaking I have ever seen. They had the chance to do something really special and instead they come out with this crap? It’s like they were trying to build a modern 250 GTO and instead built a Renault Twingo Read more
I was organized by Formula E to fill in the time for the fans while they are not running. However that is secondary to that fact that Abt was at an event representing Audi and he did not represent them well. That is all that matters to a manufacturer. (Also VAG (VW/ Audi Group) is a little sensitive to cheating at the… Read more
King Ginger came closest to getting it right. Abt got the ax because his team is largely owned/ supported by Audi and the one thing you learn very quickly as a factory driver is that manufacturers do not play around when it comes to their brand image. Read more

I agree with you 100% and that is something I might look to do a post on for next winter season. However the point of this post was that All Season tires are what come equipped on most vehicles and most people don’t realize how much better a winter tire is than the one that they have on. Read more
Wow you’re stubborn. I don’t need to look at any videos because (as I pointed out) I’ve actually worked directly with the manufacturers on this very thing. ABS will (sometimes) kick in sooner because it detects the variation in speed in the rear on the unloaded tires because of the amount of weight transfer that will… Read more
Lots of Colorado folks on here. I’m in Denver so I know we don’t get as much snow as we use to (and definitely not as much as very one else thinks we do shhhh!) I’ve had winter tires on since December and they are working just fine. They are a bit noisy but not much wear. I can’t see having to replace them for a few… Read more
All very good points. I understand it is very difficult for a lot of folks to have a second set of tires stored for winter. Not sure of a good solution other than get the best all-season tires you can. In Finland they have massive storage facilities and you come in and they will switch your tires and store them for… Read more

Yeah the RS3 can do smaller wheels for that exact reason. A narrower taller profile tire is best for winter driving for sure. Read more

I don’t disagree. As I’ve stated elsewhere people in Florida don’t need to rush out an get snow tires. If you live in NYC then you are probably fine. Buffalo on the other hand... Read more
