Yes but you guys do realize that there are plenty of way around those restrictions. Especially is you’re a manufacturer and have access to resources outside of F1. Read more
Correct on your first point but even if they made F1 spec (and manufacturers still wanted to compete) teams would spend every penny they do now to gain an advantage. It would be a much smaller one but the pecking order would still be the same (look at NASCAR). Read more
CDF is almost as good. You can run simulations 24/7 and corroborate the results in the tunnel. Read more
Great in theory but standardizing parts won’t accomplish much in the way of reigning in budgets. If Mercedes or Ferrari can afford to run a wind tunnel or a 7 post shake rig 24/7, all the standard parts in the world won’t close the gap. Read more
