I saw her sister driving a Dodge Intrepid with barely a body panel unscathed, east on Sahara Ave. in Las Vegas, not long ago. Doing 25mph in the inside lane, smoking her Parliament lights and the turn signals unused since the car was made. Can we get her banned? Read more

I went to the MotorTrend car show on Thanksgiving weekend and they had 2 of these on display, one in black and one in red. They weren't bad looking and both were constantly mobbed by the fanboy types. Not sure what that says about them. Read more

As a kid, I spent lots of allowance money on plastic models to build (and of course blow up with firecrackers) and I remember one of these as one of the first that I built, probably around the time this was a new car. This was before they days of model kits where the body is one piece—the ones in that era had bodies Read more

@brandegee: I love this car but it looks like Porsche must have bought all of the 1997 Toyota Camry dark green that they had left over because it quit selling. Read more

Great find...my dad owned a 1960 Ford, white and turquoise and I learned to drive in it and my mom's '60 Chrysler Newport with pushbutton transmission in 1964-65. That old stump-puller transmission was tough to maneuver but it was still fun to drive. Read more

I've driven I-15 north and south bound between Las Vegas and Salt Lake City too many times to count and have come close more than once—I've never run off the road but luckily have found some nice reststops where I can have a power nap for 30 minutes and continue on. I'm never in that big of a hurry~! Read more

I will never figure out why VW can't bring stuff like this to the USA instead of rebadging Chrysler minivans as the Routan. The name of this one is almost Routan—even a better name! Read more

@combat chuck: I think the Twister upholstery is actually a set of sheets from walmart or Target—I know my daughter had some that looked just like those when she was a teenage in the 90's. Do they have Walmart in FR? Read more

September 1974, birth of my first son. He was taken home from the hospital in a 1974 KG, yellow, from the dealership where I worked at the time. That was in the days of no car seats, of course, so he rode in his mother's lap all the way home. Wish I had a picture of it. Read more

I was watching an old episode of 77 Sunset Strip last week(does that date me?) and had forgotten how lame the car chases were with the tires squealing all the time, especially on dirt and gravel. Read more

Not Celine, whose billboards have finally disappeared from the Las Vegas skyline since her show closed. Also not Pat Benatar. Not even sure that's Celine singing, although she did shill for Chrysler in about 2002(maybe later) when her show was getting ready to open here. Somewhere there must be video of her driving a Read more

Every mile of freeways and surface streets in Las Vegas. No, not kidding. I15 North and South has been under construction non-stop since I moved here in 1998. I95 has so many bumps and broken connectors it's dangerous to drive on. The 215 that circles the valley really goes nowhere that anyone needs to be. Read more
