You can’t really pin Saab on him. GM did a lot to torpedo that deal, and refused to licence most of their old platforms, which is most of what Saab died with: badge-engineered leftovers. Saab was in shambles and GM half-assed the sale of a fraction of the table scraps.

I would buy the standard car, but still think this is a great idea, because soft tops aren’t for everyone, and we always wanted a Miata Coupe. It’s not quite what we wanted, but still pretty cool.
