@Nitrous Oxide: Hmm... actually, I never considered if it was widespread throughout the Middle East/North Africa or if it's specific to Egypt. However, if you look at license plates from other Arab countries, they seem to all share the numbering system I was talking about, so I assumed it was more widespread. Read more

Does it strike anyone else as weird that almost all the words and numbers are in English? I only see a little bit of Arabic and it's not even the team's name, and none of the numbers are in Arabic. Read more
