@Kuro: Yeah, Miata wheels are definitely very light. My stock NB wheels (15x6) were only 13.1 lbs, but I managed to scrounge a set of Motegi Traklite 2.0s which are 15x7 and only weigh 9.4 lbs! They wouldn't be usable on an NC though because of the brake clearance, as you pointed out. Read more

Autocrossers, especially in lower-powered cars, run tiny wheels (I have plenty of friends on 13x8s with Hoosiers) because they need to access as much power as early as possible. Read more
