To hell with 1431 through Jonestown. 2 lanes, tons of boats being towed, and plenty of county boys ready to issue tickets. If I head out to 281, I usually make my way via Hamilton Pool Road and into Old Spicewood. Read more

Definitely. Take it to 360, head north, and then left on Spicewood Springs, if you want to take a little lesser known path. There’s always 2222 to Bullock Hollow to Volente, but that stretch between 360 and 620 sucks now because of a massive high school and a ton of parent-driving-Suburban traffic. Read more
