I was thinking the same thing at Montreal last weekend. Almost every car runs a V8 swap and then I was like they should require you to use the block the car was sold with and then realized everyone would switch to Mustangs and Corvettes. Crawford Performance built one! Its AMAZING! Uses original factory parts and he not only swapped the driveline but the seats dash and other stuff so the entire car works as a WRX was intended. And because it makes as ton of power, he pulls his sailboat with it too! You have to love Quirt Crawford!

Sebastion Loeb is the best example, but then he was a gymnast before racing... kind of like ballet. And Ken Block didn’t start racing till he was in his 30's and now competes with Loeb, Solberg, and the best of the WRC and WRX drivers in the world. There are always exceptions. Read more

Thats a decent analogy. Ballet takes decades to master. If you don’t start training since childhood you have almost no shot of making one of the large ballet companies.
