These compressor driven refrigerators are very low draw. Most of the Dometic/ARB models are under one amp in operation. ~12-14W depending on how your vehicle’s socket is regulated.
Something is better than nothing. But faced with the choice between “risk death” and “be mildly inconvenienced,” I mean, let’s face it, I’m lazy. But tie-downs are on the list. Read more
