It was delayed so long that a GTR and C7 Corvette are the first two cars shown lol Read more

It’s a shame Microsoft never invested in VR. I would buy an XSX just to play Forza and Horizon in VR with a sim rig.

I actually did enjoy the first Horizon story, had an almost Most Wanted vibe to it, work your way up and beat the final boss of the festival. But I for one love the showcase events, even though they are heavily scripted, they are intense. Racing a train, a plane, jetski’s were fun. Read more

The Crew 2 was pretty close but the car controls were a bit wonky. The planes were fun and switching between boat, car and plane were seamless...Dude imagine Forza Horizon’s next game is to link all the previous game maps together, that would be insane. Read more

The first TDU was way ahead of its time, and I burned a lot of time on it. TDU2 was a steaming pile of crap. It’s been so long since the second game, I have no expectations for this one. Read more

I think having a story in an open world racing game is nice to have. It’s cool to have objectives and side missions and all of that. In Forza Horizon, you can choose to delay the ‘story missions’ in favor of side races or just exploring. The backdrop story is just there so that the player has some sort of goal in mind Read more

No PSVR2, no buy. This would be the perfect candidate for VR. It’d be cool to just cruise around the island to take in the sights in VR instead of just racing or doing laps. GT7 has some gorgeous landscapes, but I’m too busy with the racing line to take in the scenery.

While it’s too early to assume how the actual competition livery for this thing will look in the World Endurance Championship or IMSA, it’s already separated itself from the pack by being mostly green.

I’m totally OK with resto-mods. I’m sure there are plenty that are terrible and sacrilegious, but for the most part, they seem to modernize cars that still look cooler than what we can get now.

Yuck, most of the design is pretty decent, though I admittedly prefer the original. How the hell did they make the interior worse is beyond my comprehension. Read more

These have aged poorly to me, and are now my least fave gen, even over the Mustang II and the 87 aero. Read more

Came here looking for this. I might be biased, as my daughter still dailies my ‘03 Element AWD MT, but more than anything else on this page it just screams 2000's to me. You have my vote, sir. Read more

Fifth generation (2002-2006) Toyota Camry. It was, at one point, the single most common car on American roads. You couldn’t get away from seeing one (usually in silver or beige) anywhere you went. Read more

It’s more of a vibe thing but I feel like the correct answer is the Scion xB. Like just looking at one takes me straight back to 2005. I remember thinking they were so cool back then and I have no idea why. But then again, there’s lots of things from that era that I thought were cool that I had no idea why.

A 4th or 5th gen Toyota Camry was everywhere for me in the 2000s. They last forever so I would still see 4th gen 90's Camrys in 2009 everywhere (or a Honda Civic). Read more

I hate to say it, but the Ford Mustang (fifth generation).

Do you go for the excess, like a Hummer H2?

For me it’s got to be the Ford Escape. They were everywhere in my suburban New England town and foretold the coming crossover apocalypse that consumed us all over the next two decades. Read more

Having Magna in your corner cannot be underestimated. There is a good reason why there are there, they really want to get into contract car building. Think of them as a supplier that can also design & build your car.
