The trans cooler is blocking radiator airflow, and adding a bit of heat to the air. But it’s not anything I’m concerned about re: engine cooling. It’s a fairly small trans cooler. Read more

It’s a significantly heavier fan, and more importantly: it moves a lot more air. So it’s definitely yielding more load on the engine. Read more

It would have been fine, but I’m not a huge fan of in-tank coolers, especially when an auxiliary cooler is $30.
