The thing is, you’d expect SOME damage to the inner door panel, which I’m almost certain is still original (since finding a replacement manual-window/manual-lock door for a ZJ is borderline impossible). Read more

So here’s the issue:

This base-trim ZJ is SUPER RARE. Finding a door that doesn’t have provisions for the full lower cladding will be impossible. So if I just get a door from any ZJ, remove the cladding, and install my base-trim cladding, there will still be a small nipple at the lower part of the door.

With 125k on a 4.0 and an AX-15, the thing will never die. But everything else will fall apart around that powertrain/drivetrain.
