The last time a Volkswagen SP2 was on the eBay, the ESL-challenged posting likely scared off serious V-dubbers looking for one of the best-kept secrets of the Volkswagen oeuvre. This one appears to at least be penned by someone a bit more familiar with the language. The SP (São Paulo) coupe was a wholly independent project launched by Volkswagen do Brazil. It used a powerplant from VW's Type III, a 1776 cc unit whose displacement was unrelated to the impending US Bicentennial. Its a bit spendy for the average novelty seeker, but for a serious dubber, it's a find. Due diligence please.
