Car enthusiasts are a bit of a dying breed here in America. Why is that? Because most people don't know what they're missing.
Maybe if you could just show people the joys of great cars, then they'd understand. Lawmakers would work to allow low-volume imports of recent GT-Rs and Alfa Romeos. Automakers would start churning out rear-wheel-drive sports cars because demand for something engaging to drive would shoot up, if only people knew how fun cars can be.
If it were up to me, I'd sit every last person in America in a sorted 1960s/1970s Alfa Romeo GTV. Simple, light, not too fast to get into any trouble, but loud and lively. If a drive in that can't make you love cars, nothing will.
