A $1.6 Million Bugatti Veyron Just Hit The Wall On A Track In Arizona

The Bugatti Veyron is one of the fastest cars in the world, but not one you'd normally think of as a track car. One hit the track in Arizona earlier today. It also went off said track and hit a wall. Poor little Bug.

According to someone who was on site, the car got off track at Turn 10 and straight into the tire wall. We were told the man got out of the car, took a look at the damage, and drove away.

Someone else on the scene told me that the Veyron has a handful of dents, broken mirror, broken headlight, and broken marker lights. The photos in the post, which come from Monkey Wrench Media and Ashwin Gupta (more photos at the link), show the extent of the damage.

This isn't actually as sad as it looks. The owner was out driving his Veyron on a track (the owner is in the video at the top running the car at full speed) and he went off. It's a fast car, drive it fast.

So in a way, good for him for taking it to the edge. According to the photographer's Facebook page, the owner will repair it and have it back out soon. I hope that's the case.
