Will The 2015 Chevy Suburban Z71 Get Some Off-Road Ability Back?

GM has just announced they're reviving the Z71 package to the 2015 Chevrolet Suburban and Tahoe. They're scheduled to divulge details next month; so we'll see if it's an aesthetics-only kit or include the Rancho shocks and skid plates the Z71 Silverado and Colorado pickups get.

Neat badge, apparently they want to release the whole story in "late September." It does not look like GM is going to bring this over to GMC at this point.

The first Suburban Z71 came out in 2001. While it wasn't exactly rough n' tumble, it's still one of my favorite GM trucks. Something about it just looks... right. Hope they can capture the same swagger with the new one, and it'd be even better if they make some tweaks to get some off-road ability back.
