2011 VW Jetta: Bigger, Longer, Camry-ier

This is the 2011 Volkswagen Jetta. Unlike previous Jettas, it doesn't share a platform with VW's smaller Golf. It's 3.5 inches longer in wheelbase and borrows styling cues from the NCC concept seen at the Detroit show in January. Farvergbeigen?

The '11 Jetta was set to launch tomorrow, but images — hey, look, that's the San Francisco Bay Bridge! That's in my back yard! — recently hit the web. No word yet on U.S. powertrain options, but according to Autoexpress, Europe will get a handful of small, 100-200 hp TSI engines and two diesel units. Volkswagen's twin-clutch DSG gearbox also will be available.
