Back when Cadillac was digging in on its product offensive with new, world-class sedans like the CTS and the ATS, what outsold them? The old, weak SRX crossover. It’s what people want, and it’s what Cadillac is now giving to them, including a new, smaller XT4.
Cadillac is set to debut the crossover in the middle of the Oscars on sunday, but for now we can get a little bit of a look at it.
It’s like an XT5 (formerly the SRX) only smaller. Sounds good.
I look forward to a day when Cadillac is rolling in cash thanks to its crossovers and SUVs and finally gets around to making a top-of-the-market V16 super sedan just for the hell of it.
If Porsche can make the Carrera GT and the 918 thanks to Cayenne sales, then Cadillac could give us a super-luxo-barge, right?
